Uses Of Pick And Place System

The pick and place system has become a specialty in robotics, and pick-up and place devices are usually mounted on strategically placed stands to perform tasks on the workbench. It is used in a variety of ways depending on the needs of the products being handled and the automation of the manufacturer. There are four main ways to use to Pick and Place System.

1   1.  Assembly: Pick and Place While assembling the robot, hold the parts coming from the conveyor belt and place these parts on another part and then move them to another conveyor belt.

2.     Packaging: Like the assembly process, the pick and place robot takes a portion of the incoming conveyor belt and puts the robot into the container at high speed instead of assembling the parts.

3.     Bin Picking: As with the assembly process, the pick and place robot takes part in the incoming conveyor belt and puts the robot into the container at high speed instead of assembling the parts.

4.     Inspection: The vision system can monitor moving products on the incoming conveyor belt, detect defective products, and then pick and place robots can remove defective products before they reach final production.

Although pick and place robots are used in various ways, the four types of applications listed above are the most commonly used applications in today's manufacturing facilities.
